About Matthew C. Hines, Esq.
Matthew C. Hines graduated from Georgia State University with his Juris Doctorate (law degree) and his Masters in Business Administration.
His legal career began working for Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C., a prominent labor and employment law firm headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. After beginning law school, he worked with Eidson & Associates, P.C., mainly focusing on personal injury and complex litigation cases.
He next clerked with the Honorable Thelma Cummings Moore at the Fulton County Superior Court. This line of work consisted of reviewing documents submitted by the attorneys and advising the Judge on the proper ruling. Mr. Hines furthered his legal career next by working with the Rockdale Public Defender’s office, representing indigent defendants weekly and helping to defend their rights. Thereafter, Mr. Hines worked with Eastman & Apolinsky, LLC, a successful personal injury firm located in Decatur, Georgia.
Shortly before establishing The Hines Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Hines worked at The Law Offices of M. Kathryn Davis working on probate and real estate matters.
Mr. Hines is a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyer’s Association, the Cobb County Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association.

About Isaac F. Cotto, Esq.
Attorney, Isaac F. Cotto.
Isaac F. Cotto is a graduate of John Marshall Law School and is an associate with The Law Offices of Matthew C. Hines. His practice areas include immigration, family, personal injury and criminal law. In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Cotto is a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Military Police Officer for five years.
He is also a native of New York City, and has lived in Georgia since 2001. His passion for addressing current immigration issues lead him to volunteer during law school at the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (GLAHR).
Mr. Cotto combines his knowledge of the law with his courtroom experience to provide our clients with the best representation possible. Mr. Cotto is the lead attorney for all of the firm’s Immigration clients. Mr. Cotto is a member of the American Bar Association , the Georgia Bar Association, and the American Immigration Law Association.
